Application: This is a thin wall self-tapping insert utilising sophisticated manufacturing techniques to produce a "solid" self tapping insert which has a minimum wall thickness. The insert can be used in many applications where previously only wire thread inserts could be used.

Installation: Self-tapping using a hand tool or reversible drive mechanism. When using the thin wall insert the tensile strength or hardness of the receiving material has a significant effect on the functioning of the insert. It may be necessary to use tapping compounds to maximise cutting performance in some harder materials. This insert is suitable for installation in applications with thin residual walls and for light weight constructions.
